Hey Guys, first off... Excellent Site !!! :D
i'm wondering... Team Chevelle, Camaro, Nova etc... are they going to be consolidated here or is this to be a stand alone site, if ya get my meaning ???
thanks :D
The Team sites are not changing. :) This was to be a shared resource for us to discuss a lot of the other models we have, both old and new in a comfy, friendly format that we are used to.
Some categories like: Audio, security, fuels etc are best located here as they apply to all and will be a better resource to search instead of having 4 other "audio" forums, all with the same type of questions and answers.
I'm a firm believer in specific sites for specific models works the best for everyone. A lot of questions are coming up on the Team sites about 4X4's, cavalier's and such. Why not have a spot for friends to use without feeling guilty about posting a problem with their Silverado on a classic car site? That's the format we are aiming for.
thanks.. Al

I couldn't agree more. Although I don't participate in TC a great deal, I do go on the site almost daily and get a little tired of seeing non Camaro related stuff in the post. I'm sure that there are sites for Silverado's and Cavalier's (maybe) and they should try to use those as references. Not a 1st gen Camaro site. And while I'm at it, would be nice to see the later model guys keep their stuff in their respective areas. Just my rant. Jim

It would be nice to have a consolidated site for things like general engine tech, but it could grow into a pain in the ars trying to determine what belongs on the Nova/Camaro/Chevelle/Impala specific boards and what belongs in the consolidated forums. An example would be a question concerning headers, if it is about fit in an X-body it could fit in both the Team Camaro and Team Nova sites were as the team Chevelle and Team Impala members would find it worthless to their application, but if it has to do with power numbers depending on primary size, collector size, shorty, or full length then it would be a nice piece of knowledge for all teams including Team Buick!
