At first I thought they were going to ruin a numbers matching 64 SS.
But, I must admit, I liked it better when it was done. As far as ruining the
value goes, if Foose stays around, this car could be worth a bunch.
What do you guys think?

Do Not like the stripes or the big wheels.....this is a Foose downfall imho, he is into graphics on everything and adding 20" wheels, on these cars it dates them imo and ruins it. The 64-65 look fugly with stripes.
I liked the orginal color also.....but it still was a nice build....

I am not into the chip foose look seems everything they do they end up wrecking. i have watch many times in the past the end result?? a modern day looking older car. anybody who builds a car over night can't be that great of a job. i agree the pinstripping, big wheels takes away from the cars normal stance and looks beside it makes me look bad to my son who is 11 and wonders why i am taking so long to build mine.umm cash and tools come into play. i have the know how but lack the latter part lol.just my 2 cents worth

I respect your opinion, but I have to disagree. I was lucky enough to be at the 'Overhaulin Live' at SEMA 2005. Let me tell you, there were ALOT of people working on that car. There is power in numbers. Take 25 (conservative) talented guys x 7 days with a MINIMUM of 12 hours for each day. That's effectively 2100 hours. That's about equal to a single guy working 8 hours a day, 5 days a week for an entire year. If you put in that much time, you'd be done too :) Just my opinion.

I think that the Overhaulin show has changed its idea on how they do cars. In the first season all they would do it radical cars. last season they gave some choise to somewhat orginal to radical. Now they will build your car however you what. The owner of the Monte Carlo was asked by chip directly do you what orginal or not. He said big tires, big motor and strips with orginal interior.
But when you sign up for the show there has been enough shows to know what your getting. Most if not all people on this show really like what Chip does.
I told my Wife you put me in for that show, your in touble. Not that I dont like his work I just dont need any help....
