front diff leaking around output shaft

I have a 2001 Silverado 4wd stick shift 1/2 ton.
The front differential seems to be leaking around the passenger side output
shaft. How hard is it to fix this?

Not real hard, if it is the same as my 96. After unbolting the axle shaft you will see a big nut that holds the flange on the splined shaft. Remove nut, remove flange and the seal should be visible.
