I have a 84 1 ton crew cab dually that has a ton of slop in the wheel. I have changed the steering box, all the hyd hoses, installed a dual stabilizer and nothing has changed. Oh I forgot to mention the truck has a 6 in lift and 35 in tires. Any suggestions?

Ed Have you checked the steering coupler? (rag joint) The rubber can get soft and cause a sloppy feeling. The only other items that will cause the problem that you haven't replaced are the 2 joints in the drag link and the tie rod ends.

Oh I thought of one other thing, the leaf spring bushings. They will let the front end wander around a bit if they are worn.
