1968 Camaro Convertible
327 with 3-Speed Floor shift, Buckets and Console
It is LeMans Blue with Blue interior and a White top.
Numbers on trim tag are:
05B 68-12467 NOR130176 717 U4
05B - Built 2nd week of May 68 - Model year 1968
12467 - Convertible NOR - Norwood, Ohio
130176 - Sequential Body Number 717 - Blue Standard Buckets
U4 - LeMans Blue/Blue Convertible Top
This car is as close to an original car as I've had in a long time. It has the MA stamped block which is a 327 2 bbl. and manual trans. Someone changed it over to an Edlebrock 4 bbl. intake and carburetor. Also, the heads have been changed. The only other thing I've found incorrect to the trim tag is the top. It originally came with a Blue top and now it has a White top.
One of the things that I really like about the car is that no one has tried to make it a Z-28, SS or an RS, they've left it as it was born, a Camaro
It has Power Steering. It has billet valve covers and air cleaner, but I'm trying to find the correct ones now.
This car has evidently been restored within the past few years and it is a great driver! It's not a trailer queen. We've taken two trips in the past 2 weeks, one 135 miles and the other one about 85 miles. It ran flawlessly.
The bottom of the car is clean. The floorboards are solid, the rockers are solid. No rust or rot at all. I posted as many pics as possible, but I still have more and I'll be happy to email more to anyone interested in it.
