Default Throttle rod length

I have a 67 396 Chevelle .I have a new rod to install. I don,t know how many inches from the front to bend it. ny help would be great...........Thanks Chevy Team

It would be better to screw on adjustable ends, bending the rod will weaken it. To determine proper length hold the carb wide open and pedal to the floor and measure that distance then add 1/4".

The rod is suppose to be bent,

That is true but the bend in the factory rod was formed in it and not a cold bend.
