Default Transmission service??

I recently watched a YT video where a mechanic said no car can go above 230k miles with a full transmission service. Early on when I had the car I changed the trans fluid when it had around 90k and again with 160k. I haven't done it since and I notice there is some weird shifting happening. When I slow to less than 5mph at a traffic light it feels like I got tapped by the car behind me. Just a little kick in the back.
So I'm asking about if anyone has experience with that problem and if anyone has decided to take the transmission repair in Chandler for a service. Not good to do? Not necessary? Just change the fluid again? Don't go to a trans shop? That kick in the back is a bad sign? It's nothing, just a car with a lot of miles and to expect little stuff like this?

Thanks!
