GM air in cooling system after installing heater core
I installed a heater core in my chevy venture. I went by the instructions in the service manual on how to add coolant after installing the heater core. Every time I drive it and let it cool off the coolant goes low again. It said in the service manual to keep your eye on the coolant level for awhile to make sure you don't still have air in the system. Today is only my second day of driving after installing the heater core. I am thiking evenually all of the air will work itself out of the cooling system. Does anybody have any ideas of speeding up the process of getting all of the air pockets out of the cooling system. I think it's just going ot take a few days. No I don't have any leaks. Yes I opened the bleeders. I called a shop and they said flushing it will get the air out. Then they said you still have to open the bleeders after flushing it.
