I guess this is more of a question for moderators than anyone else, but I guess all could chime in on thoughts.

I was wondering if it would be possible to link some of the sections here directly to the other team sites? An example would be the engine section. Lets face it the information required to build, trouble shoot, and modify a SBC, BBC, I6, and I4 is the same regardless of the fact if it is going into a Nova, Camaro, Chevelle, or Impala. This would allow more sharing of information and get some specialists who maybe only go to one or two team sites available to help guys on the other team sites. Each site currently has its own engine section. Instead of it opening the usual section it could direct you to a group area with a tree break down like we have here! For good measure one additional limb could be added for "Other engines"! That way "W" engines can go some place as well as BOP people.

The only issue I see is the user name, but I think "most" people use the same username regardless of team site! I would also bet they use the same password to log into each of the sites! Also it may help out some of the boards that are slightly lagging on traffic!

Sponsor ship should be easy as well since you could actually get sponsors for those areas that specialize in parts and labor for the specialized areas. May even get more since they would get exposure to a larger group of people!

Just some thoughts! I'm interested in getting all the sites moving. Since the last post on this site before this one was 1-16-2008 I'm guessing some additional traffic wouldn't hurt! Team Impala is growing, but at a slow rate! If those people could tap into the knowledge from the other boards convienently on issues that are related I'm sure it would help things out!

Thanks David. Good suggestions. We had always hoped to be able to combine all the usernames into one database but that just doesn't seem to be technically possible.
