Checking In With Chevy Team
Just wanted to say hi to the guys on the forums here. Been lurking for a little and decided to join up. I've had a 62 Impala for about 9 years now and now that my life is kind of in order I decided to get back into my Chevy. Its a 62 Impala 2 door, originally had a 283 with a powerglide, now it has a crate 350 with a 700R4. I plan on upgrading to disc brakes and hopefully a 12 bolt posi in the near future. But first I have to replace my control arms in the rear. I seem to have enough to fit my fist in at one end but only my fingertips on the other. Anyway just wanted to introduce myself. And was curious if anyone knows any Impala or Chevy car clubs in the Queens or New York City area? I only seem to find lowrider clubs arouns here and thats not my car.
